Decades Of Proven Safe Storage
Like Tricor Energy, the Ten Section field shares a long history with this community. In 1936, Shell Oil Company discovered and explored the gas and oil field that would one day become Tricor Ten Section Hub. Several other companies recognized the superior geologic formation of the underground reservoir and its potential to become an excellent facility for the safe storage and supply of clean-burning natural gas.
In 1997, Tricor Energy became the first company to take this natural gas storage project from planning stages to reality. Tricor Ten Section Hub has been under our careful stewardship ever since.
