Mike KranyakPresident Prior to founding Tricor where he oversees engineering operations, Mike was the former Chief Engineer for Elk Hills Naval Petroleum Crude Oil Reserve, one of California’s largest natural gas and crude oil producing reservoirs, producing over 180,000 bpd and over 500 mmcf/d of natural gas. Mike is a second-generation petroleum engineer who has over 35 years of experience as a petroleum engineer, geologist and independent operator dedicated to meeting Western energy demands. Mike’s experience in oil and gas production led him to found Tricor, now one of the top 20 California independent producers.
Majid "Mo" MojibiVice President Construction, Land Management and Regional Regulatory Affairs Mo has been the President and Chief Operating Officer of San Joaquin Refining Co., Inc. for the past 28 years. He has grown the business organically from the bottom up into a one-of-a-kind independent refiner that offers a wide array of more than 35 specialty products including lube, process and ink oils and hydrotreated products. San Joaquin Refining Co., Inc. has a state-of-the-art solvent extraction refining process turning crude and feedstock into premium naphthenic oils and the capability of refining more than 25,000 bpd of specialty products, such as non-carcinogenic transformer oils, lubricants and solvents. Additionally, San Joaquin Refining Co., Inc. manufactures a majority of the country’s ink oils. The refinery generates over $400 million in annual sales. As Chief Operating Officer of San Joaquin Refining Company, Mo is responsible for all of the operation, expansion and construction activities at local, state and federal levels.
Chris KunziVice President, Managing Director of Ten Section Natural Gas Storage Project Prior to joining Tricor, Chris was the Executive Vice President, Managing Partner and Board Member of Mock Resources, Inc. for over 18 years. Mock grew from a $100,000 regional company into a $550 million a year enterprise recognized as the #1 independent natural gas and merchant energy supplier to the Western US. Mock merged with SDG&E as its deregulated arm and Chris then focused on successfully assisting Mock in implementing energy deregulation for its Western US Btu end users. Mock, in partnership with large industrial markets, was a signatory to the settlement before the CPUC that deregulated California's natural gas industry. Exclusive marketers for all of Shell Canada’s natural gas in North America for over a decade. Mock, with 4 Western US offices, oversaw 500,000 Mcfpd of natural gas, 416,000 bbls of marine bulk storage, 60,000 bpd of custom blended low sulfur marine and industrial fuel oils, including gasoline, diesel, refinery feedstock’s and specialty btu oil products.
Guy LemmonChief Financial Officer From 1974 to 1979, Guy worked at Ernst & Young as an audit manager. In late 1979, he left public accounting to work for the Fait Family Trust, where he has remained for the last 30 years and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Trustee. Guy has held various capacities in various controlled subsidiaries, as CFO and other senior management/officer positions. The Fait Family Trust owns or controls numerous companies involved in several industries including oil refining, oil and gas production, commercial/residential real estate investment, development and management, computer-related software, engineering and professional services and cattle farming.
Ryan KunziManaging Director Corporate Development Prior to joining Tricor, Ryan traded West Coast energy for Shell Trading North America, (formerly Coral). His responsibilities included managing and trading 14 different generating facilities in the West, through transmission positions at multiple tie points. Prior to Shell, Ryan worked at Banc of America Securities and Lehman Brothers investment banking in both the Media Telecom and Natural Resources divisions. Ryan’s career team closings amounted to over $12 billion in lead managed financings and M&A transactions. Prior to his time at Banc of America Securities, Ryan was an analyst at Wedbush Morgan Securities covering the technology sector. |
